Terms of use

These terms govern the use of CaseDrill. Creating an account means accepting them. They are written to be read: each rule says what it forbids and what happens if it is not respected.

1. What the service is

CaseDrill provides exercises to prepare for consulting recruitment interviews, and lets its members arrange sessions to practise in pairs. The service is provided as is, free of charge, with no commitment as to availability or outcome.

2. Access

Individual training is available without an account. Member features (friends, groups, sessions, notifications) require a confirmed account, because they commit one person towards another.

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for what is done from your account. An account is personal and is not shared.

3. Rules of conduct between members

The following are forbidden, without exception:

  • harassment, insults, threats, and persisting with someone who has declined or stopped answering;
  • discriminatory remarks, in particular based on origin, sex, sexual orientation, appearance, religion, health or disability;
  • sexual, violent or unlawful content, including in an invitation message, a display name or a group name;
  • impersonation, in particular presenting oneself as a recruiter, an employee or a representative of a firm;
  • commercial solicitation, canvassing and advertising, including for coaching services;
  • harvesting other members' information, distributing it outside the site, and recording a session without the other participant's explicit agreement.

A session takes place between consenting adults, on a video tool you choose. The site does not host the video call, does not attend it and keeps no recording of it: it only arranges the appointment. What is said there is your responsibility.

4. Reporting, blocking and moderation

You may block a member at any time: they stop appearing to you, can no longer invite you or find you in a search, and are not told about the block. You may also report behaviour, with a reason and a comment.

What follows a report is graduated:

  1. the report is reviewed by the publisher;
  2. a written warning to the member concerned;
  3. temporary suspension of the member features;
  4. deletion of the account.

A serious breach, in particular a threat or unlawful content, may lead to immediate deletion without prior warning. Any decision is notified to the person concerned, who may contest it at contact@casedrill.com.

Abusive reporting, used to harm a member against whom there is nothing to hold, is itself a breach.

5. Content you publish

Your answers, your STAR notebook stories, your invitation messages and your reviews remain your content. You grant the publisher only the right needed to display it on the site, to keep it and to give it back to you: no commercial exploitation, no publication outside the site, no transfer to a third party.

Reviews you write about a partner must address their performance during the session, and nothing else.

6. What the service does not guarantee

  • No interview outcome. Scores, levels and rankings measure your activity on the site, not your worth as a candidate.
  • No official accuracy of the information about recruitment processes: it comes from public sources and accounts of experience, and every sheet links to the firm's careers page, which alone is authoritative.
  • No continuity of service. The site may be interrupted, changed or shut down. Should it close permanently, a reasonable period is allowed to export your data.
  • No vetting of members. The publisher checks neither the identity, nor the background, nor the skills of the people who sign up. A practice partner is a stranger: treat them as one.

7. Suspension and termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile; the effect is immediate and irreversible. The publisher may suspend or delete an account in the event of a breach of these terms, following the gradation described in article 4.

8. Personal data

The processing of data is described in the privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms may change. The date of last revision appears at the top of the page, and any substantial change is announced on the site. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting it.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, disputes fall to the competent courts.
